Encaustic on Wood
In the depths of darkness, a seed did lay,
Bound by the soil, hidden away.
Silent and still, it dreamed of light,
Aching for freedom, craving the sight.
Through the cold embrace of earth it grew,
Pushing against barriers, strength it drew.
Each passing day, a tender shoot emerged,
Breaking through layers, its purpose surged.
